SUMMARY:EU Funding Explained: Storage and Sustainable Finance
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve joined our last few webinars\, you have some insight now into the different EU R&D funding programmes and the opportunities for the storage sector. But what about private investment in clean energy technologies? What is the EU doing to channel more investments into the EU Green Deal priorities? How are these developments likely to affect the energy storage sector? \nEASE is glad to invite you to the fourth event of its members-only webinar series aimed at helping EASE members navigating the complex world of EU funding! \nDuring this event\, EASE will be delving into the world of Sustainable Finance and the EU Green Deal Investment Plan. We will explain how the EU aims to mobilise at least €1 trillion of sustainable investments in the next decade to support the energy transition. Also\, we will introduce the Sustainable Finance Taxonomy and cover how energy storage technologies are treated in this classification. \nThis event is organised by the EASE Secretariat in collaboration with CLERENS\, and it is reserved to EASE members. SUMMARY:IFBF Virtual Summer Symposium
DESCRIPTION:EASE supported the IFBF Summer Symposium that took place online on 7-9 July 2021. \nThe International Flow Battery Forum (IFBF) brings together users\, industry\, manufacturers\, suppliers and academics to meet\, learn\, discuss and raise the profile of flow batteries. \nThe Summer Symposium will be held over three days with opportunities for discussion and networking. Seminars will be broadcast live and will include a joint session with the recently formed Flow Batteries Europe. There will be seminars on long duration energy storage\, the sustainability index of flow batteries\, flow battery instrumentation\, plus control and operation. The event will also look at current research and development too\, with a joint session with the FLORES consortium of European funded research and development projects.
